Our martingale collars are designed for sighthounds such as Greyhounds, Salukis, Whippets, Borzois, Italian Greyhounds. These dog collars are also known as Greyhound collars and sighthound collars. The martingale collars or sighthound collar design perfectly suits sighthounds and other breeds that have heads smaller than necks. These dog collars also work well for dogs that tend to slip or back out of regular flat buckle collars. Simply adjust the martingale collar size to fit comfortably over the dog’s head. It will gently tighten when pulled up on. Properly adjusted, the martingale collar does not cause choking which is why some refer to them as "limited choke" or "humane choke" collars. The properly fit martingale does not cut off air. These are a more humane alternative to the standard choke or training collar. Greyhound collars are a safer way to walk you sighthound than using a standard collar which may be slipped by your companion.
